I LEFT FOR A WHILE

​I left for a while,
but don’t worry, my dear.
I left to see wonders from my dreams
and flowers
that are not seen here.
 
I left for a while,
but I’ll see you soon.
Left to see the stars
on the other side
of the silver moon.
 
Left to walk the trails
and sweet, golden meadows
where trees grow tall 
and beautiful,
yet there are no shadows.
 
I left for a while,
but I am really not that far.
Oh, if you only knew, 
my blue eyed, sweet daughter,
how near you are.
 
I know that you miss me,
but if you only knew
how beautiful it is
to see you, my love,
from God’s point of view.​
