POEMS ABOUT HOPE
ONLY FROM HEREThere was no room for me
On the sunny meadow So I bowed my head down And moved… To the shadow. And I stood there watching How others rejoice Feeling poignant sorrow, No hope and No choice. Yet, it’s only from here, From this dreary sight, From this deep, deep darkness That I saw The Light. LILIANA KOHANN ©Artpeace 2005 |

HOPELife on earth - a confusion Happiness - a distant illusion Hope - a tiny grain of sand Yet it is here, right here in my hand I open my palm slowly, and all that I see Is this one grain of sand from some far far sea All in me wants to quit, no strength to go on Yet to this one small seed of hope I choose to hold on. HOPES UP HIGHWe like to eat pecan pie, my friends and I. We like to talk, and go for a walk, and keep our hopes up high We keep them high so no one can reach them and see. The problem is... neither can we. Liliana Kohann ©Artpeace 2002 |
