I CAN LOVE MYSELF, BUT

​​I can love myself, but...
There are some exceptions to this rule:
When there is a box of chocolates in front of me,
Or if I behave like a fool,
 
Or if I make the same mistake twice,
Or if someone’s name I can’t memorize,
Or when I get lazy, or when I am late,
Or if I can’t keep the promises I made,
 
Or if I eat the wrong foods, or procrastinate,
Or I don’t say the right things,
Or gain too much weight.
I guess I can only love myself,
                           when I’m perfect and great!
