POEMS ABOUT DOUBT > Only One Thing
ONLY ONE THING
Whatever You want me to say,
I say.
Whatever You want me to see,
I see.
Whatever You want me to do,
I do.
Wherever You want me to be,
I am.
Whenever I whisper a prayer to You,
I am still.
Whenever You call me and whatever I am doing,
I cease.
Whatever You want me to give,
I give.
There is only one thing I am asking of You God,
please.
You don’t have to take from me
my pain,
my sleepless nights, or the noise inside,
so loud.
The only one thing I want You
to take,
the only thing,
is the doubt.
