Stillness, stay
I need your comforting depths
To sink into
To be weightlessly suspended
In the sea of your knowing.
Stillness, stay
Your unbiased whisper,
"It will be alright,"
Relaxes the upheaval
In my wounded, wandering
Heart.
Stillness, stay
Just a bit longer.
Let me soak,
Infusing my aching humanness
With your reason
Before I go.
