THE FAIREST MAN I KNOW

If there would be a man,
Who’d always be the same,               
Yet different to all,                          
Can you guess his name?                           
 
         For some, he’d walk fast.
                  For some, he’d walk s l o w.
         For age, he would run.
                  For youth, he would c  r  a  w  l.
 
For lovers, he’d be
Unimportant and small.
For those facing the end,
The BIGGEST MAN of all.
 
         For some, a Mighty King,
         Ruthless and cruel.
         Yet for others, a servant
         Obeying THEIR rules.
 
                  If you’d ever like to
                  Get him on your side,
                  Don’t ask wise advisers.
                           Ask    a     little    child.
 
                                    Mr. Time is his name,
                                    The fairest man I know.
                                    And it’s up to YOU
                                    If he’s fast or s l o w.
