As a master of self-blaming, I often put myself down without even realizing it. When a friend told me, "You need to get off your own back," I suddenly visualized the image you see above—and that’s when I drew it. THE WAY WE READ POETRY MATTERS
One poem can speak many different languages. It depends how it is read. I believe that every good poem has its own heartbeat. It is such a wonderful feeling when that heartbeat is found, felt, and expressed. Poems are like songs. When they are expressed, performed, and not just read like a newspaper, they can truly touch one's heart.
I can only hope that you can find here something that will bring you joy, give you an idea, move you in the right direction— the direction of sunlight in your life. Just like in the song below, let this site be "...a safe place you always can come to and rest..."
